TU Delft Hydro Motion Team
Description
Hydro Motion, formerly the Solar Boat Team, designs and builds a hydrogen-powered boat and shows that emission-free sailing is possible. The team combines a hydrogen fuel cell with an efficient hull design and competes in international competitions for sustainable maritime technology, including the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. Students work on everything from the propulsion system and the hull to electronics and strategy. It is a strong place to learn hydrogen technology and maritime innovation in practice.
Applying (how & when)
Annually, with the entire team renewed each year. Recruitment usually takes place in spring. Check the site.
Requirements
TU Delft students from various disciplines such as maritime technology, electrical engineering and sustainability.
