Delft Hyperloop
Description
Delft Hyperloop is a multidisciplinary team of about 40 students working on the hyperloop, a fifth mode of transport in which pods move through a near-vacuum tube via magnetic levitation at speeds above 1000 km/h, faster than a plane but far more energy-efficient. The team has existed since 2015 and builds on earlier generations of pods each year (now the eleventh). It is divided into technical departments and a business department that brings in partners and funding, and the whole team is renewed annually. The highlight of the year is the European Hyperloop Week, which the team co-organises. You learn hands- on engineering, teamwork in a large team and presenting your results.
